Tomorrow is going to be a good day. It’s the end of the first full week for Lindsey at school. I will be finishing up one of the most eventful weeks of my career. After work Lindsey is going on a retreat with her group from our church’s Women’s Development Program, and I have a dinner with my group from the Men’s program. We are kicking off that program in the coming weeks. We’re very excited about it.
There will be some change in our lives in the next nine months, and we are ready for it. It’s hard when you know you have a busy life coming at you. With full work lives, the first year of marriage and now a academic theology program ahead of us it can feel daunting. But, we trust where God is leading us, and we trust that He works all things for the good of those who believe. And that is an anchor in a sea of change.
FYI – when you say ‘a lot of changes are coming your way over the next nine months’ people are going to assume you’ve obeyed the commandment to multiply.
FYI- that was me (you probably guessed) didn’t know how to leave my name
Ha ha, I need to educate you then. And no, that is not what I meant. Yet…
